Testing our Scrum

It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been busy in the office making up some lost time in managing my team. I am now overseeing a new team ofΒ 3 people for a new project for testing a web application. Since this is a pretty small team I decided to use Scrum management in monitoring our tasks and so far things are going well. We are using Jira’s Scrum board for processing our tickets and based on the feedback of the team during standup meetings they feel more engaged and active in accomplishing their tasks. I am attributing it to the fact that the status of each sprint and backlog is transparent to all members of the team. The project will go on until December this year and I am looking forward to a continuous increase in the team’s velocity.
